India’s only World Cup winner captain believes that the present Indian side has strong batting line-up in the world and it is favourite for the coveted trophy.

In an interview to a Dubai news channel, Kapil said that Indian team has strongest batting line-up though the bowling is a bit weak. "If Indian players play to their abilities they can repeat the 1983."

When asked about Dhoni’s leadership, he said, "Dhoni is capable to do better than me. He is fantastic cricketer and captain."

However, he refused to point out any dark horse in the tournament but said that four to three teams have potential this time. "Sri Lanka, England and South Africa have good side and they have an edge over others. Pakistan is the very unpredictable side. They can upset any team. "
