Wiesmann Spyder At Geneva Motor Show 2011

Weismann-Spyder 2011

Weismann Spyder

The Pontiac Aztec will go down in the history books as one of the ugliest cars human beings have ever created. The Wiesmann Spyder came pretty close to beating that record however, atleast its fast unlike the Aztec. Weismann is a little known brand who make the MF3, GT MF4 and GT MF5. Basically, these are cars with powerplants that the company picks up from the BMW factory and dress it in a bespoke retro body at their headquarters in Dülmen, Germany. Each sports car is hand built with the usual German precision.

The company has come up with an even racier version of the Weismann on the lines of the Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Sterling Moss and the Veritas RS3. The latter are a thing of beauty but this won’t be appropriate to describe the Spyder. It is downright ugly in all respects. No roof, no doors, no windscreen either.
